Currently a Clinical Instructor and Fellow in the University of Southern California's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Marsha Bievre Baker has treated patients and taught students there since 2009. She maintains a particular interest in female infertility and disorders affecting the reproductive endocrine system. Committed to providing patients with quality care and imparting to her students the most up-to-date techniques, Dr. Baker holds membership in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Baker enrolled at the University of Chicago after finishing high school. She studied philosophy, history, and social studies of medicine and science before graduating with honors. She remained at the institution to obtain her MD from the Pritzker School of Medicine, simultaneously earning an MPH from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Baker then relocated to the West Coast and fulfilled her internship and residency requirements at the University of Southern California. During this time, she earned distinction as an Outstanding Patient Advocate and secured first place honors on Resident Research Day.

Aside from her current responsibilities, Dr. Baker contributes to her field by conducting research related to her areas of interest. She has published several peer-reviewed articles in publications such as Menopause and the Journal of Investigative Medicine. In addition, Dr. Baker collaborated with colleagues on two chapters in Management of Common Problems in Obstetrics and Gynecology, "Precocious Puberty" and "Ovulation Induction."

In her free time, Dr. Marsha Bievre Baker enjoys relaxing by writing poetry and cooking. She also enjoys traveling abroad and stays in shape by running. She supports and participates in charitable groups such as Mocha Moms of Pasadena and Holy Family Church.
